There are a lot of options out there, but a good starting point is always to check if they’re licensed and insured. That narrows the list quickly.

Finding someone reliable for deck construction can be tricky, especially if you’ve never dealt with contractors before. They walked me through the design phase, explained the materials, and were transparent with pricing. What stood out most was how clean they kept the job site and how quick the turnaround was. I’ve had friends hire other companies and deal with delays, but mine was done right on schedule. Plus, the final deck looked even better than the design mockups.
