I’ve been running a few YouTube ad campaigns for my small online store, but the results are far from impressive. I’m seeing views and some clicks, but almost zero conversions. I’m not sure if it’s the creative, the audience, or maybe a technical issue with tracking. Anyone figured this out before?

When I first started with YouTube campaigns, I noticed the exact same disconnect—tons of engagement, barely any trackable conversions. It wasn’t until I took a deeper look into my tracking setup that I realized the core issue. I ended up using track youtube ads to get better attribution data. Once that was in place, everything made more sense: which ad group was performing, what placements were a waste, and how users moved through the funnel. That helped me pause non-performing ads quickly and reallocate budget more confidently. The insights from proper tracking saved me money and gave me a more realistic view of performance.
